Your EV rental is charged and ready to go on the day of your rental. If you ordered delivery, we will use as little charge as possible during transport. We’ll also provide you with a charging port map so you can recharge at our branches no matter which city you're in.
You aren’t required to charge your Tesla rental before returning it, but we do ask that you return it with at least a 30% charge.
It varies based on the charging equipment and range of the car. With a Tesla level 3 supercharger, you can get a full charge in 15-30 minutes. That’s around 200 miles every 15 minutes. A level 2 charger can take 8 hours to charge from empty to full. It can take days to get a full charge from empty if you use a level 1 charger (standard 120V household outlet).
All of the EV cars for rent in our fleet are under three years old. Each vehicle is rigorously tested and meticulously maintained to be in “like new” condition.
When you rent a Tesla with us, you're required to put in a deposit to cover any expenses related to any damages that may occur. We will put a hold on your card until the vehicle is returned and cleared after our inspection.
